Skipping Girl Vinegar at Bluesfest with Scott Mullane

Skipping Girl Vinegar at 2013 Byron Bay Bluesfest

I recently had the opportunity to travel to the Byron Bay Bluesfest as front of house mixer for the Melbourne act Skipping Girl Vinegar.

It was an amazing experience to be a part of such a great festival and to see and hear some legends perform;  Iggy Pop & the Stooges was a personal favourite.

Mixing Skipping Girl Vinegar on the main stage was a definite highlight. Skipping Girl Vinegar were one of festival director Peter Nobel’s personal choices, as noted in the festival program. Skipping Girl Vinegar put on an emotionally-charged show which included their new single’s first performance. The new single, “Making Our Way” is a preview of a new album to come which I had the privilege to be a part of during the recording process in Nashville last year whilst on tour in the USA.

    Well done Scott.

If anyone wants the support of an experienced industry professional, you need look no further than Scott Mullane and Aisle 6.

From the first time I saw his band back in the 90s, I was gobsmacked with the professionalism and that of his band members.
